The issuance of Block Licenses for Year 2024 will be started from 01.12.2023 and eligible importers can apply through the online platform.

1. Further, extension of the validity period of Block Licenses which will be expired on 31.12.2023, are allowed to extend until 31/01/2024 (Bill of Lading dates should be prior to 31.12.2023 for all validity extended licenses).
2. Value enhancement of the Block Licenses which have an existing value is only allowed until 01.12.2023.

* Both amendments; extending the validity period and increasing the value shall not be allowed for a same license.
